DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first ever Cedars North Airpark W58 car and airplane show\, August 2nd\, 2025! The show opens at 10:00am to spectators and will end at 3:00pm. All aircraft flying in will need to arrive either the night before or by 8:45am in the morning for parking and setup. The runway will be closed at 9:00am for classic\, exotic and sports car vehicle parking. We ask that all cars arriving for the show be there between 9:00-9:30am to be parked. We will have a few food trucks onsite for food and a couple of outhouses for restrooms. Please bring water and supplies in preparation for a hot August day. Cars in the show will enter on 17th Avenue. The address below will take you right to the show entrance and parking. Please google maps the Cedars North Airpark to get familiar with the area. Spectator parking will be at 2414 SE 17th Ave\, Battle Ground Wa 98604 and We will have signs to direct traffic. Aircraft flying in please check Fore Flight and Garmin Pilot comments for information on the airport and NOTAMS. For those unfamiliar with the strip. The airstrip is nicely groomed grass\, 1900×50 feet wide. It is a technical strip so if you’re unfamiliar with it we ask you get familiarize and proficient on approaches into the airport. Traffic usually arrives and departs towards the west on runway 26\, tall trees on the approach end of 26 with a cutout near short final. Calm winds aircraft can approach to the East on runway 8 with less obstructions and one home at the end of the runway. For any other information feel free to text in or call at 360-852-0968.

Search the numerous YouTube videos from previous event to get the feel of what Mountain flying is all about. This General Aviation airport has proven to be perfect for PPG/PPC due to the light traffic\, morning ground fog situations and single traffic pattern. Potable water\, Mens and Woman’s hot showers\, waste water dump on-site\, hangar storage space for equipment and shelter during inclement weather.\nTo ensure everyone gets the needed nightly rest to fly the next day the generator use will be limited to all those camping on the asphalt area be turned off by 11:00 PM. Generators will be allowed to run all night in the “East 40” camping area. The option of staying at any of our accommodations or campgrounds… here’s a helpful link www.johnsoncountytn.gov/places-to-stay.\n100LL aviation fuel is available in the office\, or seek out Airport representative.\nAn FAA NOTAM will be implemented for safety concerns that will alert general aviation aircraft of your presence in the area\, but please note that the Airport will remain open or any and all public landing and taking off traffic.\nEvent participants charge per day is $25.00 per pilot and $10.00 additional charge that come with non-flying adult guest. DESCRIPTION:The Annual RV-4 Pilots Oshkosh Warm-Up Party! As always\, reach out with any questions. The goal is simple\, meet up with all the RV-4 (now all Vans RV friendly but the -4 is still the best) friends prior to Oshkosh to do all the fun flying you typically can’t do once at AirVenture.\nCome to KOVS\, Boscobel\, WI on the morning and plan to stay and camp/hotel. We do have a discounted rate at a hotel in town. Activities of the day to include Formation Flight Demonstrations\, some competitive flying games\, lots of RV-4 fun and outstanding food with hosting by none other than our very own RV-4 Owner\, Jason Edwards.\nThe Balloon Busting competition with Spot Landing will be back and fierce as ever. Make several passes and try to get the best score while flying with your friends. Come prepped for all the fun flying we can jam pack into a day and pack your favorite adult beverages to share and enjoy later in the evening. Plans will continue to solidify and we will provide all the details as we get closer to the date. Throwing this out there to get it on your calendar! Please be honest with the RSVP this year. This helps with food and logistics. We will also be charging a fee this year to help cover expenses (amount TBD it wont be life changing). Thanks! We’re super excited!
