DESCRIPTION:Come join us at Everglades City for the 2026 Seafood Festival and help support Everglades Airport.\nCamp under your wing less than a mile from the festival. Bring your bike or rent one from the FBO for the trip to historic Smallwood Store and Museum on Chokoloskee Island. We are planning on flying down Friday afternoon and return Sunday. \nHomepage \n\nBring your tents and sleeping bags – we will have a small kitchen setup for cooking\, and there is plenty of food options at the festival\, or local restaurants. The FBO has bathrooms\, but no shower.\nWe will park and camp at the far north end of the runway\, east of the taxi way\, just south of the run-up area.\nCamping fee is $25 per plane\, per night\, payable to the airport. Admission to the festival on Saturday and Sunday is $10 per person. DESCRIPTION:Come have lunch with other seaplane pilots and enjoy the view.  Since 1993 seaplane pilots have been coming to Lake Jackson twice a year (2nd sundays in March and November)  Lake Jackson is a nice clean sandy bottom lake.  Over 2 miles in diameter.  There is room to park seaplanes in the grass in front of the restaurant or if you want sand\, park next door on the sandy beach.  Recommend 123.37 for Lake Jackson operation.
