Falls of Rough Resort is only 3.5 miles away that hosts an 18 hole golf course (discounts available to us)\, swimming pool\, and historic mansion. Nightly rentals available as low as $30 p/p for day rooms (bed/dresser room with communal bathroom/shower). Restrooms and climate controlled planning office are located adjacent to the runway and parking lot.\nAdmission = $40 per pilot\nCampers/Busses/Tent Camp =$ FREE $ – Limited Spots Available\nEthanol free “Rec Gas” is available across the street!\nFood is available at the State Park Diner (walking distance) or Falls of Rough Resort (3.5 miles).\nLodging is available at the State Park\, motels across the street\, or at Falls of Rough Resort (contact Brennan for special rates).\nFly to the north to discover picturesque farmland and open crop fields.\nHead east and fly Rough River Lake – the lake will turn into a river that is deep between hillsides for thrill seeking aviators.\nSouth leads pilots through wide valleys between 400 foot high hills.\nWest will take seasoned pilots through dense forests with pockets of open homesteads. Following Rough River this way offers some of the best low-level precision flying experiences as you meander through river bottom fields seeing more deer than you can count.\nCamping and camper spots are FCFS upon arrival. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first ever Cedars North Airpark W58 car and airplane show\, August 2nd\, 2025! The show opens at 10:00am to spectators and will end at 3:00pm. All aircraft flying in will need to arrive either the night before or by 8:45am in the morning for parking and setup. The runway will be closed at 9:00am for classic\, exotic and sports car vehicle parking. We ask that all cars arriving for the show be there between 9:00-9:30am to be parked. We will have a few food trucks onsite for food and a couple of outhouses for restrooms. Please bring water and supplies in preparation for a hot August day. Cars in the show will enter on 17th Avenue. The address below will take you right to the show entrance and parking. Please google maps the Cedars North Airpark to get familiar with the area. Spectator parking will be at 2414 SE 17th Ave\, Battle Ground Wa 98604 and We will have signs to direct traffic. Aircraft flying in please check Fore Flight and Garmin Pilot comments for information on the airport and NOTAMS. For those unfamiliar with the strip. The airstrip is nicely groomed grass\, 1900×50 feet wide. It is a technical strip so if you’re unfamiliar with it we ask you get familiarize and proficient on approaches into the airport. Traffic usually arrives and departs towards the west on runway 26\, tall trees on the approach end of 26 with a cutout near short final. Calm winds aircraft can approach to the East on runway 8 with less obstructions and one home at the end of the runway. For any other information feel free to text in or call at 360-852-0968.

For those that haven’t been here before\, we boast breathtaking mountainous views\, friendly locals\, interesting side amenities such as Doe Mountain Recreation Area for some of road trail riding\, Watauga Lake and Runway side Roan Creek for water activities\, welcoming local shops and fantastic restaurants. Search the numerous YouTube videos from previous event to get the feel of what Mountain flying is all about. This General Aviation airport has proven to be perfect for PPG/PPC due to the light traffic\, morning ground fog situations and single traffic pattern. Potable water\, Mens and Woman’s hot showers\, waste water dump on-site\, hangar storage space for equipment and shelter during inclement weather.\nTo ensure everyone gets the needed nightly rest to fly the next day the generator use will be limited to all those camping on the asphalt area be turned off by 11:00 PM. Generators will be allowed to run all night in the “East 40” camping area. The option of staying at any of our accommodations or campgrounds… here’s a helpful link www.johnsoncountytn.gov/places-to-stay.\n100LL aviation fuel is available in the office\, or seek out Airport representative.\nAn FAA NOTAM will be implemented for safety concerns that will alert general aviation aircraft of your presence in the area\, but please note that the Airport will remain open or any and all public landing and taking off traffic.\nEvent participants charge per day is $25.00 per pilot and $10.00 additional charge that come with non-flying adult guest.
