SUMMARY:Fullerton Municipal Airport Day (KFUL)
DESCRIPTION:The City of Fullerton is proud of the rich history of the airport since its founding in 1928.  Each year in May/June\, the airport opens its doors to thousands of local visitors on Airport Day. This free event showcases the important role the airport plays where the public can walk the field and experience varied exhibits\, static and interactive displays\, model building\, and lots of fun. In addition\, food\, airplane rides and helicopter rides are available for a fee.

It will be held at the Woltermann memorial airport in Columbus Montana. We will have a pancake breakfast before the run\, and a lunch after the run. Camping will be available. This will be a good time for everyone of all ages\, and a time to come together for a great cause.\nCome spend the day with some great planes\, great people\, and great food. Our goal is to raise awareness for our nationwide fentanyl epidemic that is claiming so many lives. Proceeds will go to the Jonn Beer Memorial Foundation\, which supports organizations that spread awareness and fight the crisis of fentanyl use in the United States. It also gives scholarships to students in an effort to raise awareness with our youth.

We hope than anyone who was planning to fly in will still hop in the car and drive in as it is still going to be a good time had for all!!! Hillsboro Municipal is hosting a Fly-in event to celebrate the reconstructing of the runways and reopening of the airport.\nEvents and attraction will include:\n-A Pancake Breakfast hosted by EAA Ch. 280\n-Food Trucks from Tony’s Backyard BBQ\, Kings of Comida Tacos\, and Sweetly Rolled Rolled Ice\n-Young Eagles providing free airplane rides for kids provided by EAA Ch. 34 (Must pre-register\, information will be posted soon)\n-Commemorative Air Force Bluebonnet Wing will be selling warbird rides in a Navion and T-6\n-A Touch-a-Truck provided by Hillsboro Emergency Services and others\n-A Classic Car Show provided by the County Line Cruisers.\n-A diverse collection of static display airplanes\n-Live music featuring local artists\n-We will have Bounce houses for kids as well as other kid friendly activities provided by the Hillsboro Library.\n-Sheriff Hunter Barnes of the Hill County Sheriff Office will be attending.\nAs we get more details the event will be updated.\nThis is open to anyone who wants to fly in as well as the general public.
