Wings and Wheels Fly-in and Car Show (KJLN)
September 7, 2030 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
The Freedom of Flight Museum, Our Veterans First, VFW post 5293 and the Joplin Regional Airport are hosting the opening event for the Heartland Patriots Festival. Attendees can explore a car show in the General Aviation Terminal parking lot and view an impressive display of aircraft on the east side of the terminal building. Additional highlights include STEAM activities, memorable photo opportunities, and engaging children’s events.
Aircraft owners are encouraged to display their aircraft during the event.
We have Live Music Saturday September 6 from 12-4:30 at the Joplin Regional Airport General Aviation Terminal as part of the Wings & Wheels Fly-In and Car Show. Don’t miss these great performers as they entertain the participants and spectators. Opening will be Kevin Upshaw, followed by Lonnie Hulette & Scott Leeper, and the closing band will be 449 Rewind! This FREE music starts at 12:15 immediately after the opening ceremony.
