4th Annual Crawfish Fly-In
Get ready for a true Texas-sized celebration of aviation, community, and crawfish at the Vintage Flying Museum at Meacham Field in Fort Worth, Texas — all in support of the AJM CloudDancer Scholarship, a scholarship created in memory of US Army SPC Michael Ashton Johnson.
Join us for the 5th Annual Crawfish Boil & Airplane Fly-In, where the roar of radial engines meets the smell of perfectly seasoned Louisiana crawfish. Set against the backdrop of historic warbirds and antique aircraft, this family-friendly event brings together aviation enthusiasts, veterans, and the Fort Worth community for a day of fun and fellowship.
Watch vintage airplanes arrive throughout the day and explore the museum’s incredible collection up close. Admission to the museum is free, so guests can step back in time and experience aviation history firsthand.
Crawfish will be expertly prepared by Gabriel “Gator” Guilbeau of the Yellowstone series, delivering bold Louisiana flavor served hot and piled high — just the way a proper boil should be.
Not a crawfish fan? No problem. We’ll also have hamburgers, hot dogs, snow cones, cold drinks, and plenty of family-friendly favorites.
There’s fun for everyone, including bounce houses for the kids, a raffle featuring 50 gallons of aviation fuel, flight schools on site offering information about training and introductory flights, and opportunities to connect with local aviation professionals.
We’re also proud to highlight and partner with the USA Cheerleaders Foundation and the Halo of Freedom Warrior Foundation, organizations that work tirelessly to support veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.
Whether you’re a pilot, aspiring aviator, veteran, or simply looking for a unique Fort Worth experience, this event delivers Texas hospitality at its finest. Bring the family, invite your friends, and spend the day surrounded by history, horsepower, and hometown pride at Meacham Field.
We’ll see you on the ramp!
